Laresa also has expertise in telecommunications, advising telecommunications providers including negotiating lease agreements of telecommunications towers, cabling and fibre, documentation for data centres, advising carriers on Telecommunications Legislation and assisting carriers with various consolidation and restructure projects.

AAPT

Acted for AAPT for 15 years coordinating a team responsible for the negotiation of more than 250 leases and licenses for telecommunication towers, cabling and fibre around Australia. Provided legal and commercial advice to AAPT on an office restructure project across Australia. Acted on the sale and leaseback or novation of various sites including call centres and hub sites. Provided advice on Telecommunications Legislation.

Domaine Property Group

Prepared and negotiated agreements to build, construct and fully lease various multi-million dollar assets in Australia including 333 Ann St Brisbane (over $150 million), industrial property in the Newcastle region and commercial and industrial properties in Brisbane (together valued at over $900 million).

Grant Samuel

Acted in their acquisition of a Hotel in Sydney CBD, a pub in Willoughby and Rockdale, NSW (together in excess of $40 million) including carrying out due diligence, negotiating contractual documentation, transfer of liquor licence.

Advised on projects for acquisition of a suite of assets in New Zealand and Australia. Advised Valad on numerous commercial and industrial leasing matters.

Acted for several developers drafting and negotiating Development agreements, Project agreements, Service and management agreements to develop, construct, and manage sales of various residential projects in NSW.

Acted in the acquisition of a large industrial warehouse in NSW including carrying out due diligence, contamination issues, drafting contracts for sale and negotiating a development agreement for the construction of the warehouse and lease back with the developer landowner.
