Professor Pamela Hanrahan is an internationally recognised expert in corporate law, collective investments and superannuation law, financial services regulation, and corporate governance.
Pamela advises listed and privately-held corporations and trustees and their boards on complex regulatory and governance matters. Her insights are informed by her practical experience as a non-executive director and as a former senior regulator in State and Commonwealth agencies. She is frequently consulted by governments on law reform and has conducted or advised several major inquiries on corporate and financial regulation.
Pamela is Chair of the Business Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and a member of the National Corporate Governance Committee of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Conexus Institute Advisory Board. She is an Emeritus Professor of the UNSW Business School, a Senior Fellow of the Melbourne Law School, and author of several major legal texts including Securities and Financial Services Law (2021) and Directors’ Legal Responsibilities (2022)
