Meet Justin

Justin is an experienced corporate lawyer specialising in corporate advisory work with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions (both public and private).

He also regularly advises on equity fundraising, and corporate law and governance matters. Being based in WA, Justin's practice has a particular focus on resources companies and service providers to them.

Justin is a presenter of the directors’ duties module of the Company Directors Course, for the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

The owners of the Rottnest Express business – advised on its sale to a subsidiary of Quadrant Private Equity.

Programmed Maintenance Services Limited

Advised on its acquisition of SKILLED Group Limited by scheme of arrangement.

Apache Corporation

Advised on the sale of its Australian oil & gas business to a consortium of private equity funds managed by Macquarie Capital Limited and Brookfield Asset Management for US$2.1 billion to form Quadrant Energy (APAC Deal of the Year, Oil & Gas Council Awards 2016).

Monadelphous Group Ltd

Advised on various transactions including its incorporated joint venture with Lycopodium Ltd, various acquisitions, and on the disposal of its convertible debt interests in AnaeCo Ltd.

Apache Corporation

Advised on the sale of its 49% interest in the Yara Pilbara Ammonia plant to Yara International for US$391 million.

Norilsk Nickel Australia

Advised on the sale of various Australian projects, including the sale of its north eastern goldfields operations to Saracen Mineral Holdings Limited, and its Black Swan and Lake Johnston nickel projects to Poseidon Nickel Limited.
