  • Seven Network: successfully defending the high profile urgent interlocutory injunction proceedings commenced by the Ten Network against John Stephens and the Seven Network. Ten sought to prevent Mr Stephens working for Seven after he signed a two year contract with Ten Network and then decided to remain employed by Seven.
  • Yahoo!7: achieving a successful outcome for Yahoo!7 and its CEO, Edward Harrison, in urgent injunction proceedings brought by Fairfax Media to enforce a 6 month post-employment restraint under his contract with Fairfax.
  • BNP Paribas: advising on a complex industrial relations strategy to terminate a long standing certified agreement and representation before the Fair Work Commission in its successful application to have the certified agreement terminated. 
  • Qantas Airways: representing Qantas and group companies in proceedings brought by former employees before the Federal Court of Australia and State Supreme Courts.
  • Major University: acting in proceedings commenced in the Federal Court of Australia involving allegations of breach of the general protections provisions of the Fair Work Act by a senior academic who claims his employment was terminated because of his political views.
  • Unilever and T2: assisting Unilever on employment aspects of its successful acquisition of T2, a premium Australian tea business, including the transfer of employees.
  • National road transport provider: representing a major national road transport provider in proceedings involving the Transport Workers Union of Australia and major oil and gas road transport providers, suppliers, and supermarket chains, before the Road Safety Remuneration Tribunal, about health and safety of oil and gas transport drivers.
  • Global investment bank: representing a global investment bank in Federal Court proceedings brought by a former executive involving allegations of adverse action and breach of general protections provisions.
