Rick has over 30 years experience across most aspects of the law. His particular areas of speciality include resource and energy developments, major contracts and contractual disputes, environmental law, government relations and project management contracts.

He also has considerable experience in large scale infrastructure projects including aluminium, iron, gas and steel plants, mining plant, port infrastructure and operations, power stations, and railways.

Rick has been involved in the development, construction and operation of numerous mines, including Argyle, Brockman, Cowal, Channar, Eastern Range, Marandoo, Nammuldi, Yandicoogina and West Angelas.
