Special Counsel Prashanth has specialised in tax for over 10 years and practises in all areas of direct and indirect tax, including stamp duty. He has advised on a variety of corporate and financing transactions such as scrip-for-scrip transactions, demergers, capital management initiatives and corporate migrations, the formation of funds (including private equity funds), inbound and outbound investments, joint ventures, sale and lease back transactions, and employee share and option schemes and executive remuneration. Prashanth has represented clients in disputes with the ATO and other revenue authorities, sought rulings on behalf of clients, and made representations to governments concerning amendments to tax legislation. |
