Partner He is a litigator specialising in commercial and media litigation and has acted for major corporations in difficult, high profile and contentious claims. Paul's commercial litigation practice includes property and construction, trade practices and corporate law issues in the NSW and Victorian Supreme Courts and Courts of Appeal and in the Federal Court. His recent commercial litigation experience includes acting for a large distributor in complex Trade Practices Act proceedings concerning its products and representing Alstom Australia Limited in a Part IV TPA claim concerning alleged anti-competitive conduct and bid rigging in the power and distribution transformer markets. Paul’s media practice has involved the provision of regular legal advice on defamation, contempt and copyright to a number of major media clients. He has also represented major United States publisher Dow Jones in novel proceedings about the operation and jurisdiction of the internet. Paul was recently credited as receiving "glowing client reviews" for his practice area (Asia Pacific Legal 500, 2006-2007). |
