On Friday 23 May 2008 the High Court (comprised of Justices Kirby, Hayne and Cerennan) unanimously rejected an application by Colorado Group Limited for special leave to appeal against the decision of the Full Federal Court in Colorado Group Limited & Anor v Strandbags Group Pty Limited.

BAA is Britain's largest airport operator and is the owner of Heathrow and Gatwick airports. BAA also owns airport management and retail contracts in the US. |

| The PGA OF AUSTRALIA and the PGA TOUR OF AUSTRALASIA announced in July they had signed a formal agreement to amalgamate and create a single governing body to promote, grow and lead Australian professional golf into the future. This agreement, unanimously endorsed by the Boards of both companies, was the first step in the amalgamation process and heralded a new era for golf in Australia. JWS is representing both organisations in relation to this merger by way of a Scheme of Arrangement. |
